Defining an eBay Listing - Item's Details
An eBay Listing is identified by ProductID, AttributesID (if any) and eBay Site; so in the case you want to sell an Item in English for both USA and UK you need to create 2 different Items: one for the USA eBay site and one for the UK eBay site. This is because the 2 eBay sites have different settings such as: categories.
To define a product to upload into eBay, select an existing SDN Store product, go to the Warehouse Management page, select an eBay site and then click on the 'Add New' link or select a Template and then click on the 'Add New from Template' link.
The Templates are defined by eBay Site.
If the Product has attributes, you must define first its attributes, since the Qty in Warehouse and an eBay Listing are defined by the Product Attributes.
If the product is not defined in the Warehouse, you must first add it.
PLEASE NOTE: when adding an eBay Item, SDN Store might use some eBay local data they are not up to date, so we recommend to keep checking for new releases, using the Tables Synchronisation Page. However, if you try to upload an item whose data has been replaced by a new one, the system will not allow to upload it and generate a message telling you, which data is not used anymore.
So, go to the Warehouse Management Page:
Add a New Stock Item:
Click on the 'Listings' link
Then, select an eBay Site and click on the 'Add New Listing' link, or, if any, select a Template and click on the 'Add New Listing from Template' link
By clicking on the 'Add New Listing' link, you create an empty eBay Listing with the default you have set up on my Preferences Page. You could also create a new eBay Listing by selecting one from Templates. Templates are like any others eBay Listing saved as Template. Then you define all the section of an eBay Item.
In Item Description there is a web editor where you could better design the item's description, also you could upload as many pictures as you want and you don't pay extra fee, beucase they would be hosted on SDN Store and not uploaded into the eBay web site. To do that click on the icon , this will open the Image Gallery
