How to Update

IMPORTANT: before starting the update, we RECOMMEND to backup your DATABASE |

This upgrades SDN Store from any version. To update SDN Store, upload the SDNStoreXX.XX.XX.zip file into your DNN, by clicking on Host --> Module Definitions and then on 'Upload New Module. The uploading of the new zip file WILL NOT OVERWRITE YOUR EXISTING STORE SETTINGS. |

After the zip file has been uploaded successfully, if you browse the page containing the Product List Module, will see this message: |

This is because, after the zip file has been uploaded successfully you need to update the database. To update the database add the SDN Install/Update Module in a page (visible only to Administrators): |

The SDN Install/Update Module shows the last updated version and the just uploaded version: by clicking the 'Install/Update SDN Store Database' button you'll update the SDN Store database. THIS MAY TAKE FEW MINUTES. |

At this point the SDN Store database has been updated successfully. |
|
Now, to complete the update browse the Page that contains the Product List Module or the eBay Auction Module (if you're using the SDN eBay module). THIS MAY TAKE FEW MINUTES. |

From version 02.0.2.23 the Licence Key has been introduced, so if you update SDN Store from a previous version, make sure you input the licence key (found in the Download Page on the SysDataNet.com web site), otherwise SDN Store will work in DEMO. This is required only once. |

How to find the current version of SDN Store
|

To find the current version of your SDN Store, click on Host --> SQL , type the following sql statement: SELECT * FROM po_StoreVer and then click on the 'execute' link |

You see a list with the PortalID and its SDN Store's version. |
