Introduction |
First of all, you need to add the SDN Languages module. |
Since SDN Store uses the language set up in the DNN, SDN Languages module is not used by the Customers, so we suggest to delete it if you don't use a multi-lingual web site or to make it visible only by an Administrator. |
| Only the Host user can add a new language and edit the labels, while the Admin could only overwrite the Default, Order and Visible properties. |
Click on Add New to create a new language. |
-
Language: the name of the language like: English, Italian and so on...
-
Visible: tick this box to make this language visible to anyone, if not it will be visible only to an Administrator.
-
Order: order in the list as it appears in the SDN Languages module.
-
Language/Country: choose a Language/Country from the list, this will set the appropriate localization.
-
Default: this will be the default language.
To Edit a Language click on near the language |
| If there is no translation, the System objects (Labels, Pages, Modules) will appear in English; Products and Categories will be not shown while for the others, such as: Pricing List, Discounts, VAT, Attributes, Shipping Rates Tables a 'not translated' label will be shown. |
The layout of the pages remains the same for all the languages. |
