Shipping Rates Table

First of all they define the areas where the store owner is willing to ship. An area includes one or more countries, so, for example: it could be: Italy, UK, Europe, USA - Texas, USA, Worldwide, so on.

Then they define the Services such as: Domestic Standard Delivery, Domestic Special Delivery Next Day, Parcel Airmail Europe, Parcel Airmail Worldwide, so on.

Finally they define the rates for a specific Area and Service.

Areas |

To define the areas click on SDN Store Admin --> Setup --> Shipping Rates Table --> Areas |
|
Click on the 'Add New Area' link, type the name of the area and then click on the 'Update Area' link. |

Click on the 'Edit List' link to define its countries: |

|
Tick the countries and then click on the 'Update Countries' link |

Services |
|
To define the Services click on SDN Store Admin --> Setup --> Shipping Rates Table --> Services |
 |
|
Click on the 'Add New Service' link, type the name of the service and then click on the 'Update Services' link. |

Rates |
|
To define the areas click on SDN Store Admin --> Setup --> Shipping Rates Table --> Rates |

|
Click on the 'Add New Service / Area' link |
|
Select a Service and an Area. |
 |
Then, if you want to define, for example, the following rates:

weight between: 0 - 10 cost: 5.50
-
weight between: 10 - 20 cost: 6.50
-
weight between: 20 - 30 cost: 7.50
-
weight greater than 30 cost: 8.50

Click 4 times the 'Add New' link and type those numbers and then link on the 'Update Rates' link. |
|
IMPORTANT: the lowest weight must be zero. |
