Credit Card processed in Store

  • It does require a SSL certificate installed in the server.
  • Transaction Type supported: N/A
With this method the credit cards details are stored in the shop encrypted in the database.
Normally the Payment Gateway sends an email to both Customer and Merchant as soon as the order is complete.
Because in this case there is no Payment Gateway involved you might want to set up a Confirmation Email.
To set up this method you have to go to the Payment Type and tick the option CC processed in the Store.
In the checkout page, will appear the link to redirect the customer to the Payment Page.
The link must be specified in the Site Setting, HTTPS Redirection field
When the customer clicks on the 'Continue' button, he/she will be redirected to the Payment Page on the https encrypted side (it should ask whether to download the certificate before proceeding)
This page is accessible directly from the menu in Admin mode. When the customer clicks on the 'Continue' button, he/she will be redirected to the Invoice page (accessible from the menu in Admin mode). The address is based on the URL Home field in the Site Settings page.
To see the credit's card details, go to the Orders Management
The Ref. Order contains the Order date, a reference and the Order ID. By clicking on the 'Credit Card' link, you'll be redirected to the HTTPS encrypted side which shows the credit's card details.
PLEASE NOTE: credit's card number is encrypted in the database and using the SSL certificate is encrypted when transmitted from the customer's web browser to the store.
When the order is complete an email to both customer and merchant will be sent if a Confirmation Email is activated.
