It does require a SSL certificate installed in the server.

Transaction Type supported: 1 step / 2 steps
|

With this method the credit's cards are collected to the Store therefore the Server that hosts it has to have a SSL Certificate installed. |
|
To set up this method you have to go to the Payment Type and tick the option Authorize.net |

In this case the Transaction type is set up to 2 Steps, therefore to actually charge the credit card you need to Go to the Order Management page and click on the 'Send now' link. See later on this page. Go to the Merchant Settings page to set up the Authorize |

TEST MODE |
|
Test Mode is a special mode of interacting with the system that is useful during the initial setup phase, where a merchant may want to test their setup without processing live card data. |
|
To set an account to Test Mode you could either do it from the SDN Store or from the Merchant Interface. |
|
To set it from the Merchant Interface, do the following (only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to access this setting): |

1. Log into the Merchant Interface
|

2. Select Settings from the Main Menu
|

3. Click on the Test Mode Link in the General section
|

4. Click on the Turn Test On button
|
|
Transactions submitted in Test Mode are not stored on the system, and will not appear in any reports or lists. |
|
The Transactions are processed as live transactions only when both flags (in SDN Store and Merchant Interface) are set as NOT Test Mode. |

Address Verification System |
|
The merchant can configure the gateway to reject or accept transactions based on the AVS code returned. To configure rejection or acceptance of a transaction based on the AVS code, do the following (only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to access this setting): |

1. Log into the Merchant Interface

2. Select Settings from the Main Menu
|

3. Click on the Address Verification System (AVS) link from the Security section
|

4. Check the box(es) next to the AVS codes that the system should reject
|

5. Click Submit to save changes
|
|
Credit Card Identification Code (CVV2/CVC2/CID) |
|
If you tick the option 'Use CVV2/CVC2' the SDN Store will ask to your customers the Credit Card Identification Code. |
|
The merchant can configure the gateway to reject or accept the transaction based on the code returned. |
|
To configure the filter to reject certain Card Code responses, do the following (only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to access this setting): |

1. Log into the merchant interface

2. Select Settings from the Main Menu
|

3. Click on the Card Code Verification link from the Security section
|

4. Check the box(es) next to the Card Codes that the system should reject
|

5. Click Submit to save changes
|

Login and Transaction Key |
|
To get the Login (or API Login ID) and the Transaction Key from the Merchant Interface: |

1. Log into the merchant interface
|

2. Select Settings from the Main Menu
|

3. Click on API Login ID and Transaction Key in the Security section
|

4. Type in the answer to the secret question configured on setup
|
|

|
Access Gateway Using |
|
The Access Gateway using is setup as using English - United States. |
|
|
In the checkout page, will appear the link to redirect the customer to the Authorize Payment Page. |
 |
|
The link must be specified in the Site Setting, HTTPS Redirection field |
 |
|
When the customer clicks on the 'Continue' button, he/she will be redirected to the Payment Page on the https encrypted side (it should ask whether to download the certificate before proceeding) |
 |

Once the order is completed the customer is redirected to the Invoice page (this page is accessible from the main menu in admin mode) |

At this point Merchant and Customer receive an email from Authorize to confirm the payment. If you have setup the Confirmation Email you also receive another email from SDN Store. |
|
Since we setup transaction type equal 2 Steps the money of the payment are not yet transfered into your Merchant account. To actual charge the customer's credit card you need to go to the Orders Management page and click on the 'Send it' link. Please note when sending data to the Payment Gateway, the transmission is encrypted using the SSL certificate. |
