Bank Transfer

  • It does NOT require a SSL certificate installed in the server.
  • Transaction Type supported: N/A
With this method the customers create an order without inputting any the credit card number, but they will receive an email containing the instruction of how to pay for the order, for example they might get the intructions to pay through a specific bank.
To set up this method you have to go to the Payment Type and tick the option Bank Transfer.
In the Payments Menu --> Bank Transfer Page, you can set up the following details:
  • A section where to specify whether customers could pay from all the countries or only from a specific countries. Here please remember to save the any other data, before adding new or deleting existing countries.
  • Extra Cost to add to the Total to Pay and associated with this specific payment.
  • The actual text to send to the customer once the order is complete. Please note this text will be appended to the Email Body in the Confirmation Email, therefore to actually send an email to the customer you have to setup the confirmation email as well
In the checkout page, the customer selects a payment type:
Once the order is completed the customer is redirected to the Invoice page (this page is accessible from the main menu in admin mode)
To see the Order's details go to the Orders Management
When the order is complete an email to both customer and merchant will be sent if a Confirmation Email is activated.
